- Every Bottom Covered — Every Bottom Covered is our supplemental diaper program. By bringing in your photo id, a WIC or SNAP care, and the baby’s birth certificate, you can get 50 free diapers and a pack of wipes every 30 days at no cost to you. (Subject to availability) To find out more about the Every Bottom Covered agency, check out their website.
- Post Abortion Support — Some women struggle with their abortion decision. We provide a support group where women can work through their emotions surrounding that decision.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your services really free?
Yes. Every service at Options Care Center is free, thanks to generous donors in our community. That includes pregnancy tests, ultrasounds provided by our partnering medical provider, parenting resources, and support. You don’t need insurance, and there is never a cost to talk with us.
Is my visit confidential?
Yes. All services at Options Care Center are confidential. What you share with us stays private, and you can review our Notice of Privacy Practices for full details on how we protect your information.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome for pregnancy tests and most services. Ultrasounds must be scheduled in advance. You can book online or call or text 716-484-1234.
Where are you located, and what are your hours?
We’re at 560 W. Third St. in the Westgate Professional Building, Jamestown, NY 14701. Hours are Monday 10am–3pm, Tuesday 2pm–6pm, Wednesday 10am–3pm, and Thursday 10am–4pm.
How accurate is your pregnancy test?
We use medical-grade urine pregnancy tests that detect the pregnancy hormone hCG. For the most accurate result, test about a week after a missed period. If you test too early, we may recommend coming back to test again.
Why would I need an ultrasound if my test is positive?
An ultrasound confirms whether a pregnancy is ongoing, shows how far along you are, and checks that the pregnancy is in the uterus rather than ectopic. Our partnering medical provider performs free viability ultrasounds onsite, and a licensed nurse practitioner reads every scan.
Do you offer STD/STI testing?
Yes, through referral. Testing and treatment for chlamydia and gonorrhea are available from a partnering medical provider at our location. Call or text 716-484-1234 to learn more.
What parenting support do you offer?
Through our HOPE Program, you can learn about parenting and receive material assistance. That includes monthly supplemental diapers and baby items from our resource room.
Do you provide abortions?
Options Care Center does not provide abortions. We offer free, accurate information about all your pregnancy options, along with ultrasounds that can help you understand your situation before making a decision.
Do you offer support after an abortion?
Yes. We offer a free, confidential post-abortion support group for women who have struggled with a past abortion decision. Call or text 716-484-1234 to learn more.
