Parenting Resources
Parenting is hard! And expensive. Our Hope Program can help!
The HOPE Program is one of our most popular parenting resources, consisting of educational videos coupled with the opportunity to earn items for your baby. You watch videos and chat with our advocates. This is an invaluable parenting resource that will help you be the best parent you can be.
- Earn HOPE CREDITS for every video discussion you have with our advocates.
- Earn extra credits by bringing a support partner (the baby’s father or your mom, sister, or friend).
- Redeem these credits for items you need for your baby. (Clothes, blankets, diapers, cribs, etc.)
- Don’t have transportation? No problem! Ask us how you can do videos and discussions over the phone.
WHO:
Any client who is experiencing pregnancy who is in need of education, emotional or spiritual support, and material assistance.
WHAT:
A long-term educational program that allows a man or woman to earn what he or she needs for their baby.
- Combines streaming videos with worksheets, parenting education, personal growth opportunities, and one-on-one emotional support.
- Includes information about pregnancy, labor and delivery, early infant care, raising toddlers, parenting, relationships, and life skills.
WHEN:
Clients should enroll early in the pregnancy of their child. Most clients schedule weekly appointments at the center throughout their pregnancy and beyond.
